And even that doesn't work properly, most sliders behave erratically when set manually. I can assign each knob / slider manually but I'd have to do this for each synth (and each knob / slider) I use and it doesn't get saved. So I can get keyboard's keys to work by setting Midi controller type to "Tascam US-428" (M-Audio and several other sites advise this) but can't get knobs and sliders to control anything on a synth.
